Selling Superman TAKES OFF ON Nov 7th!

Updated: Nov 4

Before I get to Superman, in case you're in NY, I'll be there for DocNYC Pro in mid-November, which runs alongside DocNYC Film Festival, the largest film festival in the U.S.

See you there or online, with Selling Superman!

AS FOR SUPERMAN....

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook (@ChristneLeuthold), you know about SELLING SUPERMAN, a docuseries directed and produced by Adam Schomer, a past Stone Soup Ripple Featured Guest. The series is about a 40-year secret comic book collection of over 300,000 comics -- and a chance to rewrite a family story. Here's a sneak peek where you'll meet, Darren, and Brian and get a glimpse of, in Brian's words, "the sweetest comic book collection I've ever seen." And here's a short trailer:

The premiere was last week in Portland, and last night, as one of the executive producers,I was at the VIP press/media screening in LA. So you can see it too, the exclusive online engagement begins on November 7th. I hope you can be there -- and spread the word!

When Adam first told me about Selling Superman, not even being a comic book fan, I thought, 'How could this even be possible?' And then I ended up as one of their executive producers, ending up at ComiCon and, about a month ago, in Detroit with Darren Watts as he showed me highlights of the collection.

Here's a quote from an audience member at the Portland premiere last week:

"Such a courageous story of the power of being authentic and vulnerable."

GET TIX for November 7th so you can watch all four episodes, bonus features, and the special Q&A, and get ready to fly!

Lower left: this cover appeared about 5 years before Planet of the Apes!

Center: I'm holding the comic that is the namesake of this series. It is worth at least $3.5 million. Would you sell it?

Right: Darren Watts, is truly a great person, with my deep respect for sharing his story.

Below: Adam and me at the LA premiere. A packed house, with a great Q&A after. The final quesiton to the audience was, "Would you sell it or keep it?"
