... And What's Happening in This Tuesday's Salon... Join Us!
In last Tuesday's screening salon we watched Meeting Jim as a group. Before the filmwe each shared how we felt walking into new surroundings, where we wouldn't know what would happen and might not know anyone.
Words ranged from interested, pumped and ready to anxious, trepidatious, defensive and 'gulp' (the last one was my word, btw). Someone mentioned that they were an introvert. Sensing that they might feel alone (and vulnerable) by sharing that, I asked the group for a show of hands as to who identified as an introvert, too. I'd say at least half of the group raised their hands...
We talked about introverts and extraverts, and I mentioned this Ted Talk, The Power of Introverts by Susan Cain... and to add a ripple to that, I'm wondering how you describe yourself when it comes to the "verts"?
Here are some words that come to mind... Which is you?
introvert
extravert
ambivert
closeted introvert
reformed introvert
supressed extravert
extravert-in-training
intravert-in-training
